We arrived around midnight and were greeted by the front desk worker. She was friendly but not forthcoming with the knowledge that the elevator needed BOTH buttons pressed in order to operate. We pressed the up button several times and finally gave up on it and used the stairs. Every single vending machine on all 3 floors were out of order and when I asked the front desk about it I was told the vendor had to come fix them. They were never fixed in the 4 days I was there. The carpets were sticky and the floors underneath were uneven and very creaky/loud. The room has a damp musty smell to it. Housekeeping put towels in my room while I was in the bathroom, even though I had my Do not Disturb door hanger on the door. This was unsettling to me. The shower temperature would fluctuate from very hot to chilly constantly during my showers. They use what I'm positive is Fabuloso to clean the rooms, and it is an overwhelming smell. The cards on the mirrors say "hospital grade disenfectant is used on all major touch spots" but I have a feeling that isn't true. The windows open only 3 inches so it isn't effective to air out the room. The continental breakfast is a joke. yogurt (peach or strawberry) mini bagels, white or wheat bread, muffins, fresh waffles (only thing worth eating there) oatmeal packets, dry cereal or apples/oranges...mediocre at best! the toaster takes legit 5 minutes to toast the bread and it only does ONE SIDE. ridiculous!! spend a bit more and go anywhere else!
