After driving almost 11 hours, I arrived at this hotel. When I arrived I asked the guy working the counter for a first floor room. He stated that they had " no first floor rooms available". So he put me on the second floor. When I walked in the room, I found the window open which is not an issue, but the window open and there being NO SCREEN on the window was concerning. I closed the window and attempted to turn on the TV, to find the cable box broken. I went down to the front desk to advice them of the broken box. I ran into a hotel employee at the elevator. I told him about me room. his reply was "last night it was working because I rented this room to a local person and he watches a lot of TV". Basically insinuating that I had broken the box. And when I showed him the missing screen, he asked me what did I do to the screen? I told him that it was like that when I walked in. He said that he can refund my money and I can go somewhere else. I told him that I had just driven from Redding and I just want to get some rest. He then called the guy at counter and asked if they had any king rooms? Then he said "ok, move him to the double room". But he said it like this: آیا اتاق های کینگ در دسترس داریم؟ خوب، سپس او را به اتاق دو نفره منتقل کنید.
Funny how translation headphones work, when you have a degree in International Business Management.
I wont even mention how housekeeping walked in my room PRIOR to 11am check out time. I wont be back!!!!
