Checking in had some hiccups, we had to wait half hr for our host to open our bedroom, once we got settled in our room and she was able to set up a second queen bed. We had the master bedroom, it great to have our own bathroom. Bfst was served the next morning and got to meet the rest of the occupants, was very nice.

I can see why Kelly is so highly rated on Airbnb! She has a very organized facility and it is all newly remodeled and in great shape. I would highly recommend using her Airbnb for your stays in Hawaii. Thank you, Kelly for being a wonderful host and for the breakfast.

Kelly was a wonderful host. Since she had cancellations while we were there (Jan 2026) she upgraded us to the master with ensuite. There are 3 bedrooms in total. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were all kinds of snacks and coffee, tea, milk available. Kelly made lovely breakfast for us each morning and was so accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It is about 30 minutes drive from Hilo. You do need a car. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this B&B. Thank you Kelly and Roger for a great stay as we explored the Hilo area.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the host Kelly was incredibly kind and thoughtful, providing everything we might need during our stay. We stayed here for almost two weeks. Kelly was amazing. She was always whipping up different types of breakfasts. She was so cute and so talkative. Her food was really good. (If you are like me however, ask for pancakes or french toast or crepes) she loves to cook Mexican style breakfast but it didn’t always sit right with me. Then I told her about and she said, “well you should have told me earlier!” We both laughed. And it was excellent there after. Her place is very cozy and calm. I loved how clean everything was and I love that she had the filtered water. I filled my water bottle with it everyday. She had lots of treats and ice creams for us. All included of course! She was so sweet, I hope to someday go back and bring my adult children. :) Thank you Kelly! Staying with you made the trip even better! We love you “Auntie!” Love Kyle and Stef
