Lots of pros and a few cons. Would stay again.
I had a lovely stay here. I planned 3 nights but ended up staying an additional night. The front desk was able to add it to my original booking so I didn’t have to move.
Pros:
Location
Lots of parking
Clean
Well stocked in room coffee station
Super friendly staff (both desk and cleaning)
Hot tub *
Great view of Begbie from my bottom floor window.
Relatively modern upgrades in the room. (Nice tub, fixtures and wall colours)
Cons:
The noise from the hall ways is loud. A lot of parents were letting their children run and scream up and down the halls sometimes as early as 7am. (Nothing hotel can truly do about that). Better doors on the room would help with noise transfer.
My door doesn’t auto close. As in you have to be mindful to actually pull it fully to lock it. I accidently left it unlocked at first not knowing it didn’t actually close all the way.
****Lack of storage in room. There is plenty of room please add a small dresser. One shelf under the microwave and a suitcase holder. Only 4 hangers. ****
I stayed alone but if 4 people were staying in the room there wouldn’t have been enough of towels and hangers/storage to stay 3 nights comfortably.
Nowhere to put your own shower stuff in the shower. The tub ledge is very narrow and I was knocking things over constantly or risking tripping on them in the tub.
They had large garbage bins beside the building and often there was trash blowing around the parking lots.
Despite, I would 100% stay again.
