Suitable for a brief visit

We only stayed for one night, which was suitable for a brief visit. Unfortunately, the coffee machine in our room was out of order, requiring us to visit the lobby for hot water and drinking water. The bathroom was spacious and featured a modern shower. However, the toilet bowl had not been thoroughly cleaned for guests, as we noticed a small, faeces-like stain on the side of the bowl.

The place is in the worst part of Freeport. Front desk is behind bulletproof glass and they make you sign a waiver that they are not responsible if you get robbed. My room had no deadbolt, hair in the bed, and no number on the door. I forgot my key in my room and when I went to the front desk, the guy (who had never seen me before) gave it to me without asking for ID or anything. Absolute slum, more like a pay by the hour motel than an actual nice place to stay. Looks nothing like the pictures, customers beware!

A motel without sheets

As i climbed into bed the first night i had difficulty slipping between the sheets. Rather than sheets, there was an empty duvet cover between the matress cover and a bedspread which serves as a lightweight blanket. I slept between the duvet cover and the bedspread. The next day, I complained to the front desk clerk, who didn't seem surprised, but promptly dispatched the housekeeper, who stripped the bed and replaced one duvet cover with two duvet covers, so that i would have top & bottom sheet-equivalents. She made two trips to her linen supply, however, as one of the "fresh" duvet covers that she initially grabbed was either dirty or stained. (I didn't get a close look.) When i asked the housekeeper whether they had sheets, she said "no", because their patrons throw them away so management doesn't buy new ones. She mentioned that the patrons were "black people", apparently to explain their bizarre behavior. Evidently they do have security problems as there's a cage over the smoke detector. On the bright side, I liked the modern shower and stylish bathroom sink, the room was very clean and, otherwise, in good condition and generally quiet. Were it not for the matters mentioned in my first three paragraphs, i would have called this a decent 2* motel and might have stayed there again. I don't see how, with a straight face, anyone would call this a 3* hotel. I know this sounds unbelievable. So, I made sure to take photos.

We were enamored with the sink. Never had we seen such an inventive approach to marine line aesthetic and gold rimming. The coffee was from a famous brand called armpit Arabica and was a must. There are no hoovers, but Chencha mops the floors regularly. Popular with 3 girls and papi protection. De riguer. Arrive by LIR strictly and dazzle

Bad experience - do not recommend

It is not nice and it doesn’t feel particularly safe. When you walk into the lobby, the front desk is protected by bulletproof glass. There were people sitting outside their rooms on lawn chairs watching me as I made my way to my room. The room was not clean or comfortable. Mattress was an old spring mattress, very hard. I immediately booked another room at a different hotel and left. Don’t let the pictures fool you - this place is not charming or nice or comfortable.

Great Stay

This was a quick overnight after attending a show at Jones Beach. The motel was in a very convenient location to the venue. It was very clean and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Would stay again.

Decent enough place to stay. No breakfast included. Absolutely HATED the bathroom mirror. It made me feel like it was a two way mirror, it was so creepy. The lights outside the rooms were so bright that it looked like daylight through the blackout curtains. I don’t think I would stay here again

The room was dirty, including the bed sheets, I had to request clean ones. When we came back during the night from the activity we had, I noticed a few things missing (snacks and a shower scrub) We called the manager and at least he told the employee working to order a pizza, so I'm grateful for that.

The hotel is old and it looks like it’s not being maintained. The curtains were ripped. The bed had 2 small pillows that’s not comfortable for sleeping and no blankets. There was a thin cover without a sheet underneath. Lifting up the flimsy sheet from the bed will put you on the mattress itself, so had to cover with the thin cover that was on the bed. Everything is old and rusty, light fixtures, pipe at the sick looked dirty. It’s in a decent location, but definitely not walking distance from the strip. Will not stay there again.

Some disappointment

The room was decent. It reminded me of staying at my granfathers house as a kid. The water pressure was good. I don't care for the out dated listing on Hotels.com. The resturant is closed...looks like for a while now. The only access to the water seems to have been through the resturant. Two factors that had gotten me to book here. It was disappointing
