Great stay for families!

Room was very spacious and the view from the patio was AMAZING! Housekeeping did not come by until late in the day after we had come back from park (and didn't want to move) so our room did not get serviced.

Great place and spectacular views

Driftwood Lodge is very underrated. We had a room in the Narrows building, room 515. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom is large.The view and the balcony was spectacular. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The room was so large they even had two sitting chairs for you to relax and enjoy the views of the canyon. It is a bit far from the center of Springdale about a mile from. The market and bakery but if are at Zion to hike what is another mile? Would definitely consider staying here again.

Quick stay

Although we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed the room. It was large and it faced the river which was enjoyable. The room had a patio as well which we enjoyed sitting on at night looking at the stars and listening to the river.

What an experience

We had a perfect Off-Season experience at this wonderful property. Waking to sound of the Virgin River beneath our room and views of the Amazing Zion through the expansive windows. Staff was attentive and I will be back!

Great little find

The room had an amazing view of the mountains behind the property, it was cozy, comfortable, lovely bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Had fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The hotel had laundry facility, outside pool and spa. Could walk to everything. The attached coupons we received for breakfast were $8 per person which you used at another restaurant further down the road called Oscars. The food and service there was outstanding. Loved our stay here and would definitely come back…

Beautiful location and views of Zions. Comfortable bed and large well decorated room. Loved the balcony. Shower drain was plugged which makes me question how well it was being cleaned if they didn't notice.

Not worth the price

Upon check in desk clerk warned us that no one would respond to issues after 6:00 p m….when was the last time a hotel warned you that if anything goes wrong you are on your own? Only one bar of soap so needed to move back and forth from sink to shower….coffee pot didn’t work….ice was in the next building over….and they charged a damage deposit while posting signs that said they were not responsible for car damage in their lot…..very disappointed

Amazing views, and roomy. Balcony too!

We chose this stay because of the amazing views and balcony access for a Valentine's weekend trip. This did not dissappoint! Room 114 was roomy, clean, fridge/microwave/coffee station were great. Satellite TV was bonus, but not all stations were available. We ended up adding another night, but the kid at the desk failed to update our room keys (thanks to 'Scott' for helping us out while locked our of our room). Why our Sunday rate was higher than Friday and Saturday rates is a question I still have in my mind, however there was a 10% discount for adding the extra night. Critiques: Tub did not drain very well, but the water pressure was great. No couch but 2 sitting chairs only..not very cosy for a couples stay. Our main critique is the bed which could have been more comforting after all day hiking trips. We had a king size bed and 4 twin size pillows that were lumpy and uncomfortable. Twin?? Maybe ok for younger folk, but in our opinion (we're early 50s) a good nite's rest depends on the comfort of the bed. A thicker topper and choice pillows are a must. We just happened to forget our pillows so that sucked. I asked about other options, but there were none. The bed should be the hero and icing on the cake. We still give our stay an overall 4 stars.
