We did not get the room we paid for. They were overbooked and could not accommodate us. We had to switch rooms due to ants and even the new room had ants. The towels and bedding in our rooms were dirty. The whole place smelled of cigarette smoke.

Cigarette smoke

Everything was nice and clean and staff was friedly and helpful. The smoke if the cigarettes was very noticeable in the hallway. I could mainly smell the smoke when I turned the bathroom fan on. The staff did offer to switch rooms if need be.

It CAN be that bad

The lobby smells like someone smokes in it regularly. Dirty rooms, many with mold in the fridge. The front desk had no light bulbs and openly said they booked more people than they could handle because they had a dozens of rooms with out doors that lock and/or ac and working bathrooms. All of these things were confirmed while i was waiting in line to check in. Two other families were in line ahead of me getting refunds because neither of their rooms had clean sheets amongst other things, another found a cooked waffle with toppings in the microwave and one behind me had pictures of his fridge that had mold on every side of it. The door didn't work on the room i was given so i left. Im sure if you check other reviews from the weekend of April 4-6 you'll see reviews and pics to confirm my review and more. Spend the extra and go to Suburban Studio or Hawthorne Suites

Crappy hotel- Econo Lodge, Tridelphia, WV

Horrible dump of a hotel. Remove them from your website and kindly refund my money. I was told by front desk staff that they may not have a room for me after already having a booking and arriving at 10:30pm. I was not happy. I was then told they had rooms but they weren’t clean. Then I was told a room would be ready shortly. I waited in the lobby for a bit after a 5 hr drive. A bit later a room was ready and we went to go to the room. We were clearly put in a smoking area as it reeked of smoke. We went to the room and after doing a bedbug check since it was a very crappy hotel we settled in. Later on we noticed that the sink wouldn’t drain at all and the shower rod was falling off of the wall battery managing on. I mentioned this to the front desk staff at checkout out and was basically told they were sorry but since it was booked third party, they couldn’t do anything about it. I think that’s ridiculous and that you should back up their customers. Can you please help?

Dirty!

Not very clean. There was a dirty wash cloth hanging on shower that was visibly hairy. There was splashed coffee stains on door and trash behind tv. Honestly, my expectations were low and I didn’t expect anything luxurious. However, cleanliness would have gone a long way towards a better review.

It was awful.. stunk, bed sheets had cigarette burn holes in, burns in the bathtub, dirty cob webbs, had to move rooms tv didn't work. Won't be staying there again. Key card won't open door.

I had paid extra for king bed, was told that there king bedrooms weren’t cleaned due to harsh winter conditions which was understandable. But why can’t they give me a refund for the extra I paid??? Property says to ask Expedia, and Expedia says property declined refund!

Out of 3 lamps only one had a light bulb. Drinks out side of our door. Things broken in the room. Back entrance which should be key card access was hanging open. Our door wont lock from the outside or inside felt unsafe.
