I stayed at the Crowne Point with my family of 5 for a Man City game. I specifically picked this hotel (and paid more than other options) because they had adjoining rooms available and put the request in my reservation. Upon arrival, we asked if the rooms were adjoining and the front desk woman coldly said no that they were just next to each other. Both of our rooms had adjoining doors to other rooms one of which seemed to be empty so that was frustrating but I didn’t want to make a huge deal of it.
One of our beds had a huge divot in the middle and you’d slide into it no matter what you tried. Like broken springs. The others were mostly firm but comfortable. Room was very clean and modern.
About 2 am the room next door had an alarm go off which worried me because I wasn’t sure if it was my teenagers room or the other room next to us but I saw a hotel employee in the hall trying to help the room get the noise to stop.
When we checked out, the elevator would stop each time completely full. Being on a higher floor with luggage, stairs weren’t a great option. A little stressful when we had a flight to catch. Not the hotel’s fault but just a heads up to leave early because it took us about 12 minutes to get down.
The location is good and walking distance to most sights. Did not pay for breakfast so no review on that. Hotel was very clean and felt safe but overall I wasn’t impressed and would try another option next time in Manchester.
