A Great Find

Great find. Fiona and James are very welcoming and helpful hosts. The room was lovely and big and the welcom tray well stocked. Lovely clean bathroom and plenty of toiletries. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay , Sharon (and Teddy) , were extremely friendly and welcoming . Our room and the guest house in general was very clean and the breakfast was lovely (I had the Full English both days). The location was very good with only a 10-15 minute into the main part of town or a 20 second walk to the beach front . Well worth the high rating it already has , thanks Sharon for a great stay !!!

Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit im Bay Lodge Guesthouse. Vom ersten Augenblick an habe ich mich sehr willkommen gefühlt - Sharon ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und hat viele gute Ausflugstipps. Das Frühstück war ganz wunderbar und mein Zimmer hatte einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Die Lage ist super, direkt an der Uferpromenade und nicht allzuweit bis in die Fußgängerzone. Nicht zu vergessen ist Teddie, der ganz brave und liebe Hund von Sharon, den ich am liebsten mitgenommen hätte. Aber ich glaube, das möchte jeder Gast:-)

Eastbourne

The guest house owner messaged before arrival to find out the arrival time so all was ready. A very warm welcome was ready for us. We were showed to our room and everything about our stay was explained in detail. The room was very clean and lots of extras like plenty of products in the bathroom, tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes on arrival. Breakfast had a lot to offer, full English, cereal, fresh fruit etc Overall an excellent stay and guest house, highly recommend

Es war einfach nur toll!!! Und schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Eine super nette Gastgeberin die ein tolles Frühstück macht. Es fühlst sich an als ob man bei seiner Oma zu Besuch ist. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!!!!

Exceptional host

The host was exceptionally welcoming. Attended to our every needs. Room was bright, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was bespoke to our wishes. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a value for money and friendly guest house.

Sharon, one of the owners, makes this place special. She asks your name, and continues to use it in such a friendly manner that you feel like she sees you as a friend staying with her, rather than a paying guest. The breakfasts are very good and you never feel rushed to eat up and leave the breakfast room. Location wise it is spot on, with everything you need only a few minutes walk away. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I cant recommend this place highly enough and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely friendly welcome from Sharon. Our room was clean & had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. A 10 min walk into the main town where there are lots of eating places. Breakfast the next morning was very nice, cooked well & warm, plus a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit & fruit juice. Couldn't fault our stay, would definitely rebook if we return to Eastbourne

We werden buitengewoon hartelijk ontvangen door Sharon en ze gaf goede tips wat in de omgeving te zien is. De kamers zijn schoon, groot en we hadden een mooi uitzicht op zee. De erker is heerlijk om in te zitten, ook als het buiten regent. Het guesthouse is knus, voelt veilig en vertrouwd en Sharon laat je voelen alsof je thuis bent. De ontbijtzaal is niet groot, maar voldoende ne het ontbijt is heerlijk vers klaargemaakt. Parkeren is even zoeken, maar in de buurt is altijd een plek te vinden als de parkeerplaats achter vol is. In de buurt kun je ook een elektrische auto opladen. Aanrader voor een korte of zelfs een langere vakantie in Eatsbourne.
