Pros: location is decent for getting around downtown, near some restaurants and venues, responsive staff, looks like they’re renovating, good shower pressure/temp Cons: stained and threadbare towels, cleanliness was attempted but there’s splatters and stains on walls etc, cable box would go out repeatedly, sketchy back parking lot I think the rooms are more expensive than they should be, as this place provides bare bone amenities. It’s a step or two below a Motel 6.

The hotel is currently under construction in certain areas. The room I stayed in was updated and was great. It was missing some bulbs (near the bed) and a hairdryer but otherwise was great. I was in town for a concert and the venue was a 5-minute walk from the hotel. I stayed in this area before and the hotels were bad. The Central Phoenix is at the time I stayed going through renovations. The room was updated and clean. The one thing I missed was "coffee", you'd think it would be easy to put a 2-cup brewer in the room. Also, a safe would be nice. The staff were nice.
