Hotel set in beautiful grounds in a quiet area. Staff were some of the most helpful we have ever encountered. Room did not have air-conditioning but a fan was supplied on request. Breakfast was self service and excellent. Evening meal was also very good.

Absolutely amazing stay. Myself and my dad stayed for several nights for a convention thay was being held near by. Plenty of parking outside, The hotel itself is stunning outside and in the main bar. The twin room was basic but clean and the beds were comfy! We got a disabled bathroom which was unexpected (As i thought the room had a bath) but considering the hotel was holding several weddings that weekend and was fully booked it was understandable. The two big standouts where the staff and the food - both absolutely amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, really made the trip enjoyable and memorable. Ive seen mixed reviews about the food online but we found it really nice and beautifully presented. Overall we would definitely return, for the restraunt if nothing else! - Big thanks again to the staff!

The hotel is impressive and historic. Ample free car parking, there is a larger overflow car park to the side of the hotel if it is full at the front. Easy and friendly check-in. The staff were helpful with everything you need. Good, well-stocked bar on site. Room was clean comfortable, all necessary amenities. I slept well with a good bed. The breakfast the following morning was very tasty. I would stay here again.
