Fancy feeling but dated. It's a historic hotel, so that's expected and doesn't take away from the charm, or better yet, gives it more charm.
It was clean and had good views. Didn't hear any nieghbors at all but did hear the highway and train from time to time. Having a pool and hot tub was a bonus.
We could walk everywhere we had planned, including dining, the river muesum, and the fenelon place elevator. Everywhere we walked was like a mural walk with amazing murals all over the area.
The only con was we missed having a microwave. But, there are loads of restaurants in the area, including in the hotel itself. Barrell house restaurant across the street was our favorite.
