Lovely hotel with wonderful windows and front view, very clean, breakfast was included, delicious, staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Really good . Very helpful staff. Good food + vegetarian & gluten-free options. Only disappointment was that could nt get a boiled egg for breakfast.

Room was boiling hot so couldn’t sleep very well. Didn’t find owners very friendly but nice bar staff. Breakfast was mediocre

Ideal for a for short stay. Rooms are small but cosy. Got your bed, television, tea, coffee and kettle. Plenty of storage spaces: wardrobes and drawers. Ensuite bathroom (walk-in shower) as well. A few breakfast options: cereal- help yourself, toast and cooked options available. Parking is limited - they're are some free spaces several minutes walk away. Staff - couldn't fault them. I would stay here again.

Alnmouth is such a fabulous location Have visited many times. Always particularly enjoy our stay in the Hope and Anchor. Smart boutique style hotel with an Italian style restaurant. It’s clean comfortable the staff are friendly and accommodating the breakfasts are delicious. Will return as always

We absolutely loved this place. What a beautiful room: comfy, beautifully decorated and furnished, good size bathroom with good shower and lovely products. All staff were incredibly friendly, smiley and helpful. We ate in the restaurant, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast was also very good.

Positive feedback… Our evening meal was delicious, breakfast was great & the staff were friendly. Negative. Caught the kitchen staff helping themselves to customers chips once the food has been plated. Our room bed side table was full of biscuits crumbs and a stained coaster. The en-suite bin had the previous guests rubbish in it.

We're just back from a great weekend at this lovely hotel. Great room, delicious food, and attentive staff. Perfect location to explore beautiful Alnmouth.

This was an inspired booking through Hotels.com. We had an excellent room (Lapwing), which gave us a lot of space. The weather was fantastic (snow on the beaches, zero temperatures and clear skies - excellent for walking).

Hotel is well located in Alnmouth. The staff are excellent and the evening meal was good. The hotel is dog friendly which I must admit, I didn’t realise at the time of booking. The hallway, stairs and landing carpet was very soiled and badly needs replacing with hardwood flooring. The room we had (curlew) was very small and the bedroom window had obscure glass. Once again the floor was carpeted and needs replacing with hardwood flooring which would help keep the place more manageable with all the dogs being there.

The room, shower and bed was clean and comfortable. We felt the pub needed a refurbishment and was unhappy with the only meal we had.Evening menu was limited for vegetarian and food was only average. Breakfast could be better. Street parking is a lottery. Not sure it was value for money. Staff were excellent Accommodation in Alnmouth was limited but we still enjoyed our holiday.
