We loved this hotel. We were given a welcome drink of sparkling wine. In the evenings, hot cider and snacks were put out in the lounge/reception area. The room was spacious and the breakfasts were good. It was within easy walking distance of the sights in the oldest part of the city.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. The only negative point is how to reach the hotel. I received detailed information but it sadly needs revising. The pedestrian guide just does not work. I tried to walk to the hotel but went astray after terminal 1. When I asked in a café, the staff expressed surprise that I was even trying. Just take a bus to U Hangaru. I did and expected to find the hotel--as they claimed--"right in front of the hotel" This is just not true. In front of the bus stop is an office building. I went in and was told that the hotel was some 200 yards down the side of the office building. It is, but it is totally invisible from the bus stop. The Holiday Inn sign is small and was not lit up (I arrived at dusk) and I was left wondering what "right in front of the hotel" means. It certainly gives guests the (false) impression that the hotel is easy to find. But it is not. "200 yards down the side of the office building opposite the bus stop" would be much clearer and more honest.
