We come to Hudson at least once a year and normally stay at another hotel. However, for this trip we decided to try this hotel. Upon arrival, there was a drink in the fridge, some type of substance on the air conditioning unit, and hair throughout the shower. Thankfully, once calling down to the front desk, they sent someone up to clean the bathroom. This hotel is very run down and needs to be updated. The carpet is gross, the bathroom shower has ONE little tray which holds maybe a bar of soap (and it’s a walk-in, so no ledge) and the pool is itsy bitsy. However, the staff are wonderful, and I was so impressed that the housekeeper cleaned our room while we were downstairs for breakfast. What a treat! We probably won’t come back here, but we’d consider it if they did some renovations.
