Decent Place

Decent hotel but a bit out of the way if you're heading to the pubs downtown. The room was clean but a little dated. Most importantly the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Nice to come back to.

Really comfortable room, with modern bathroom and all very clean - coffee maker an unexpected bonus. Took a while for someone to let me in initially at the front door, but after that everything ran smoothly - breakfast was excellent. It is a little out of the centre of Cork, but ample parking, and a good base to visit the city. I've stayed before and was glad to stay again this time round.

Extremly kind receptionist, even though i made a mistake during booking, problem was solved in 5 minutes. Lovely garden, comfy beds, delicious breakfast. Overall good atmosphere.

Einmal genügt

Anfahrt ins Haus war ziemlich schwierig, verkehrstechnisch. Das Haus ist eher in kränkelndem Zustand. Hauseingangstüre liess sich nicht schliessen, Türschloss defekt. Auch die Zimmertüre liess sich nicht einfach bedienen. Vieles war defekt im Badezimmer. Kein Fahrstuhl. Man musste von der Reception ca. 100m laufen, über mehrere Häuser und Stockwerke. (Sehr enge Treppen). Mit 2 Koffern über 40 Kg war das echt mühsam. Notausgänge und Equipment.. Das Frühstück: Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht gerade Profis. Das Besteck wurde mit den Händen auf der Klinge und die Gabel an den Zanken angefasst und so auch gedeckt. Die Freundlichkeit war nicht typisch irisch, welche wir sonst so genossen. Von Belvedere hatte man leider auch nichts gesehen. Schade.

The Belvedere Lodge was such a beautiful property nestled into the busyness of Cork. It was a little difficult to find with our maps app, but once we got there everything else was easy. Our room was so much more spacious than we expected, and the bathrooms had been updated. The breakfast was really tasty with lots of options. We were only there one night, so didn't get to truly enjoy the garden in back, but we walked through and it was beautiful.

Superbe séjour ! Le lieu a beaucoup de charme, l'accueil est fantastique et le petit déjeuner vaut le détour. Il est excentré de la ville mais ça n'a pas du tout été un frein

It was a comfortable room and bed was good, but it was very loud and noisy. The doors are very heavy and slam shut. This unfortunately woke us all night. The locks on the door are secure. The lodge is in need of an update. Our bathroom was missing tiles and the counter tile was sunken in a section. The breakfast was good and the staff were all very nice and helpful.

Lovely property very spacious room. Breakfast was exceptional with a large variety. Only issue we had was finding the place. Entered the directions into GPS but took us elsewhere. Had to contact property to get there.
