Excellent location

Great location. Rooms are large with a view of the city. A 5 minute walk to city center. Gold city is across from hotel. Next to that is the largest Souq in the country. Parking is available. Thereโ€™s a travel agent on site. Restaurants on site too but many places to eat within walking distance..

The Delmon is not for everybody. Itโ€™s older and could use some refurbishment. However the staff is some of the best. And the rock and roll club is too notch. Itโ€™s not my last time visiting

The Delmon International is an excellent hotel; however, on the night of Thursday, December 1st, I was kept awake until 3:00 a.m. by loud music and noise in the clubs on the ground floor. After 3:00 a.m., a loud-mouthed neighbor kept me awake for three more hours. Staying at this hotel on a Thursday night, it appears, will not lead to a good night's sleep.

We verbleven er 13 n. in HP. Zeer vriendelijk hotel met 5 sterrenservice. De staf doet alles om het comfortabel te maken. Na een vroege aankomst, kregen we snel onze kamer, waarvoor dank. Op de dag van vertrek, konden we de kamer houden tot 16h.Gezellige receptie met knusse salons. Tijdens de dag zijn koffie met kardemom en dadels gratis beschikbaar, ook gearomatiseerd water. De kamer werd dagelijks goed onderhouden, altijd verse handdoeken, veel toiletgerief (zeep, bathgel, shampoo, conditioner, bodylotion, tandenborstels en pasta, scheergerief, haarkapjes..) Ook koffie, thee, suiker, melk en flesjes water worden elke dag voldoende bijgevuld. Ontbijtbuffet gevarieerd met eieren naar wens, kazen, charcuterie, salades, fruit enz... Bakkerijproducten kunnen beter, maar we zijn in eigen land verwend. Avondbuffet is lekker, uitgebreid saladebuffet, keus tussen vis, kip en rund, pasta en rijst in variatie met couscous, aardappelen...Lekkere soepen. Beperkte keus voor dessert. Het hotel is oud maar heeft charme, al dringt renovatie zich op. Het zwembadgedeelte heeft potentieel, maar moet dringend aangepakt worden en beter onderhouden worden. Ligzetels beschikbaar, ook gratis handdoekenservice. Er zijn nachtclubs in het hotel, maar onze kamer was rustig. Uitstekende ligging op 4 min. van Manama Bus Terminal en dichtbij Manama Souq en op wandelafstand van Financial Harbour, Bahrain Bay, WTC, The Avenues...

2 Nights in the Delmon International.

I stayed in the Delmon International for 2 Night. Overall I had a OK experience. Staff where friendly and polite and allowed me a late checkout. Room was clean but both the room and the hotel itself are showing signs of there age now. There was no Tea and Coffee facilities in the room but I asked reception and one was provided for me. Shower pressure was very poor too. Most of the facilities where closed due to the current situation. Plenty of cheap eating in the local area. Best Breakfast I've had in Bahrain yet. Thank You

1. Not a place for families or new tourists: They didn't let a food delivery guy come to my room but there was a lady in the 2nd floor lobby offering 'her services' 2. Nothing eatable Not a 'good' menue For my whole stay i ate out, twice i picked up the menue to order but couldn't come to order because there wasn't anything particulraly good 3. Very loud music untill 2AM There's night club on ground floor that goes on an on untill morning 2AM. No way you can sleep before that time 4. Houekeeping was good Clean and clear and fast. Room was good as well

Location is fantastic, right next to lots of shopping and Manama Souq buzzling with activities. Limited parking but valet parking available. Hotel had ample time to get our room ready as we turned up early, but went to walk around and returned much later after check-in time, but was given a smoking room when I specifically requested for a non-smoking room, and front desk didn't even ask or tell us it was a smoking room. Tried to bear with the room initially, until even the pillow was reeked with smoking smell, and upon calling the front desk did I find out that it was a smoking room. 1st response was that they were out of non-smoking rm, and when I insisted that I booked a non-smoking rm, agreed to move us an hour later. Other than this, rest of stay was ok since it was nice walking around the area.

Old hotel in the old part of the city.,I like the location because I can walk everywhere I need to go, gold shops and all......the shopping at the mall is the same over the world. Bahrain has that too. Many upscale int shops a cheap ride away. Delmon is a great choice for me..good rest.
