we arrived on the day of our booking and found out the hotel already charged our credit card for the first day of our stay. our understanding of the credit card was only for the guarantee of the booking and could only be charged for penalty for no show. we asked for the explanation of the use of the card and the only answer was we had no loss because the total sum of payment remained the same.
he seemed confused the sole purpose of the card: guarantee but not payment, a breaking of the trust of our booking agent and us. Trust is our concern, not money, or on a lesser level.
he never apologized but rebuffed saying our english was too loud in their culture while we had to speak across the desk counter not knowing his understanding of english as he was at his computer working other business without facing us.
other unfriendly encounters of the staff members: coming back to the hotel for room key, breakfast services and the likes.
a normal 2 star hotel with good location. The reception attitude was not satisfied. The room furniture were old but still clean. The room was overpriced.

not bad
Pro:
-The location is perfect,close to public boat station and train station.
-There are many shop close to the hotel.
-with normal breakfast included.
-24hrs reception,can talk in English.
-toilet clean and new
Cons:
-The wifi is only available at lobby.
-no lift,we need to take the heavy luggage to 3/F!!
