Loved our stay at Embassy Suites - room was very clean and I liked having a separate living/lounge area. Our room overlooked the sports stadium and on two nights I was able to watch amateur football game from the hotel room, but you can also walk in and watch the games. The breakfast was great - the best thing about it was the fresh egg station and the fact there wasn't a massive selection of foods (which I found at my previous hotel which left me overwhelmed every day). Breakfast can get busy after 9:30am, and on one occasion we found it tricky to get a table but others days it was absolutely fine. On the whole I would highly recommend the hotel - location is also really good as it's walking distance to Old Town, Meshreib and the national museum. The pool is on the smaller side but the hotel itself isn't massive so I don't imagine it getting too busy, although we didn't use it as we went in early Jan and it was too cold to swim. I was surprised there was a life guard given the size of the pool. Gym is also a really good size, with a separate gym for ladies and gents.

It’s a lovely hotel in a good location for what we wanted. Can easily walk to Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic and the Qatar National Museum. Staff were nice, Omar, Morris and Mohammed the pool guy were all friendly and helpful. The only gripe was the loud guest in the adjoining room 1210 that kept us awake. Otherwise it’s a lovely hotel and one I’d go back to but will steer clear of connecting rooms as we could hear the loud noise emanating from the connecting room. Overall it’s recommended
