Horrible Service - Overrated
The dining experiences were just horrible - from the wait staff service to the limited menu. At dinner, we asked for salt and pepper.....the waitress served 2 tables their entire entrees before we were provided salt and pepper. We had to ask for refills of tea...which, had to be made when we initially ordered it. Other people that were attending OU orientation that same morning that came in after us literally sat down and then left before being served, because there was no way that they would be able to have their food delivered in a timely manner....and this is with only 3 tables including ours (which only was my daughter and I).
The dining experience became an expensive joke.... from the menu selection to the quality of the foods served.
Oh! And, then, loved taking a shower and then realizing that there was no conditioner. That was a great experience as well.
It is a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. The service is just horrible.
Then, when we tried to order breakfast via room service the night prior, we were given a window of it being delivered between 7 and 8 and was told that the best way to ensure we had food served by 7:30 would be to eat in the dining room, which opened at 7. We were the first people in the dining room at 7 and the biscuits came out cold and then it took over 5 minutes tor the waitress to bring butter and jam; thus, making the cold biscuit inedible.
