The hotel is beautiful — the lobby and bar are stunning, and while the rooms are small, they’re stylish and comfortable. However, the front desk service falls far below what a 4-star hotel should deliver. As others have noted, the staff can be rude and dismissive, with little attentiveness to guests’ needs.
They offer free coffee, but only in glass cups that become burning hot — no napkins, no alternatives. When I burned my finger and politely asked for a real cup, the breakfast attendant said I’d need to pay €22 for the full breakfast and added, “It’s free, what do you expect?” The front desk eventually intervened, but only after a public argument.
The key system is also incredibly inconvenient. It’s not a normal key card — it’s attached to a heavy decorative keychain, and they require you to leave and pick it up every time you exit or return to the hotel, with no option for a simple card. Pair that with an unpleasant front desk experience, and it becomes frustrating fast.
The hotel has charm and potential, but the service issues overshadow it. For the price, I’d stay elsewhere unless major improvements are made.
