Good option for a family for one night, because there was a king size bed plus a single.
The building dates to the 1600's, and there are several stairs to get into the front door plus a very steep and curved staircase to get up to the 2nd floor. Interesting but would present challenges for anyone with mobility difficulty (maybe they have an elevator that I missed). The furniture and carpeting was a little tired and rough around the edges. Small bathroom with small shower and sink, and the only toiletries were hair/body wash in plastic packets plus a dispenser in the shower. Nespresso style coffee maker in room with a few pods, but no milk. Hardly any reception area, with no seating.
Location was fine, and our room looked out onto a canal, but we had to keep the windows closed to sleep due to the loud music from a festival going on. There's no AC, but we used the fan provided. In a heat wave, it would be uncomfortable.
Overall, it seemed like a lot to pay for the quality. Prices were very high everywhere when we stayed (August 1, 2025) during Pride festival, which we didn't realize was taking place.
