The property was just as gorgeous as depicted in the photos! It was in a quieter section of Centro Histórico, but close to the busier shopping streets and clubs. This part of Cartagena is so beautiful, full of cultural sites and experiences and is completely walkable for those capable of doing so. I appreciate the need to access the property with a door code as well, adds to the level of safety.

This little Boutique hotel is gorgeous. I adore the aesthetic of the hotel inside and out. Very clean, neat has a spa vibe I felt instantly relaxed as soon as i walked in. Always had very pleasant interactions with staff super professional, efficient and helpful. Breakfast at Cande in the mornings was an added delight. Would come back again because we had a very good experience but the balcony rooms were booked and we'd love one on our next stay.

Perfect boutique hotel in perfect location

Incredible boutique hotel with amazing privacy , comfort and a location that just cannot be beat! I stayed at the hotel before when it was a “self served” hotel and I have to say I’m super happy to know that it turned into a full boutique hotel now. It’s located in one of the best neighborhoods of the walled city within 1-5 mins walking distance of all the best restaurants in Cartagena. The Rooms are really well appointed , the hotel is incredibly clean and smells soooo good ! There is a very small plunge pool to dip your feet on a hot day but don’t expect much of it. The breakfast is served at a cande restaurant which is about 3 blocks away and one of the great restaurants of the city but while it serves traditional Colombian food, I do wish they had more international options. As a tourism professional, I think it’d make more sense for the hotel to partner with the gorgeous little cafe next door to them which serves amazing food ….literally out the hotel’s door next door. This is really a perfect little hotel

So disappointed.

Our hopes of a wonderful end to our very long trip from Peru to Cartagena for rest and relaxation were very quickly dashed when we arrived at Privado Rooms and we were given a room by the entrance next to the road. We had booked a superior room btw. We asked to be moved upstairs where the atmosphere was much better but to little avail. Eventually after much negotiation we were given a room downstairs with no window which we had to pay extra for but it was away from the road. The place is fine, nice area, safe but overpriced, there are many better options in Cartagena. The swimming pool is a jacuzzi on the roof.

La recámara estuvo más o menos limpia, aunque siempre preguntaban que si quería limpieza creo la actitud de la gente perfecta creo q el piso estaba un poco lleno de polvo porque tenía una habitación con balcón y fue la mejor. El lugar muy céntrico y seguro. Lo único que pudiera criticar es el wifi de caía mucho, los hostess la muchacha, la señora y el señor del turno de la noche muy atentos. Y siempre tratando de ayudar todo el personal con una sonrisa y atentos a uno. Gracias.

Beautiful boutique hotel located in an excellent location, walkable to many points of interest and restaurants. Rooms were designed beautifully and spacious. Breakfast vouchers are given to a nearby restaurant which offers traditional Colombian breakfast food. The pool is more of a dip pool but still great.
