We travelled to Dublin from Canada. We were pleased with the location of the hotel. It was the perfect distance from Temple Bar / Grafton Street area with a beautiful walk through St. Stephen’s Park. Security is always a big part of travelling abroad and we felt 100% comfortable with this hotel. To get into the hotel, we had to be let in - which gave us the ultimate sense of security for the property. Specifically, Benjamin was very friendly and extremely accommodating. We would recommend this hotel to anybody planning to visit Dublin.

The location is really good. It's central in the sense that everything is a short walking distance away, but still quite calm in the evenings/night time. The room itself was compact but clean and the bed equipped with a very comfy mattress. The staff does get high marks from me. Super friendly and helped with questions and requests. Clean and nice room, we were not too happy about the bed, we did not sleep very well any of the nights but it was a good location and had polite nice staff and a nice breakfast cafe right around the corner from monday to friday. We did not understand why they did not have the wifi password in the room. We needed it to use both internet and their chromecast and the guy in the reception did not know it when we asked.

I felt that the Earl was a great place to stay; it was very walkable to St. Stephens Green and beyond. The room type was cozy enough for me, a solo traveler. I did think the bathroom was a tight space but I managed fine. The surprise was that I was on the 3rd floor without an elevator; I hadn't been aware of that when booking. I managed with my suitcase and the staff had offered to help with luggage. I'd stay again but on a lower floor.
