The air conditioning was good, the parking was somewhat off. The primary complaint is that the rooms were up a very steep double set of stairs which would be okay if my husband was not 85 (with recently rebuilt knees) and I were not 76 and have some slight breathing problems.

Definitely a unique place. More like a airbnb than a hotel though. Did not appreciate the ?guests? downstairs smoking weed when we went to bed. The smell is obnoxious.

The room was fantastic. Space theme. I was going to the observatory so it was absolutely perfect. I had the entire place to myself. The staff is offsite within a 15 minute drive. Easy entrance and exit quiet slept like a rock that never happens.

Loved this place! Super comfortable bedding—maybe the nicest I’ve ever had at a hotel. Our family loved all of the extra fun offered and enjoyed killing time in the lounges playing pool, foosball, and board games between our excursions to the observatory and parks. So nice that all this was offered for free. We also loved the glass bottle sodas for sale on the honor system at the old soda fountain. Would be great if frozen treats or other snacks were offered the same way. Maybe a QR code payment system so as to not have too much cash laying around up for grabs? Such a cool step back in time to show our kids though!

I will like a cleaner room, I understand is kind of a self service place, but the sheets smell awfully I one of our beds, so I was cold the whole night, because I can't stand the smell.. It's a vintage place and near to everything but cleanliness it's not at the place it should be.

We stopped at Fort Davis on our trip to Big Bend National Park. Our accommodations were great. We loved being downtown and walkable. Would highly recommend a stop over here.
