Pros:
1) Staff is friendly: all encounters we had with staff members were positive.
2) Beach is great: the waves are calm, sand is clear, clean area
3) Pools: pools have a decent size with plenty of sitting and sun beds.
Cons:
1) Rooms: our first room did not have hot water so we were transferred to another room that did. Why give a guest a room without hot water to begin with? That is a terrible way to welcome your guests. The second room was a bit better with hot water, fridge and safe; but still outdated. They are remodeling some rooms so I expect this will improve over time.
2) Food: it is the worst food on area. The breakfast was blend and offered no variety. They claim it is “local” food but it is the lowest quality of local food there is. Lunch and dinner were poorly cooked and had no flavor. After the first day, we went out for every meal. There are many bad options in the area. It took us a few days to identify good places and we stuck with them. This is by far what bothered us the most. If the hotel finds a good chef and purchases better quality ingredients, it will go a long way in improving customer satisfaction. The menu items were inexpensive enough that they would be able to charge more to offer better quality.
3) Drinks: beer was lukewarm; there is nothing worse than being on vacation and being unable to order beer because the temperature was just not appropriate. We tried ice, asking to put the beer next to the wall of the fridge, but nothing helped becau
