Not the cleanest

When we got in the room there was toilet paper and urine in the toilet. There was something on the sheet and comforter. Not sure if it was dirty or stained but it really stuck out on the white bedding.

Nice property, management needs to step if up.

The maintenance at this newer hotel is not being properly attended to. The bathroom lightbulb is broken off, the bathroom door is out of track, and there is a large black mark on the ceiling, along with tape from a previous stay. The comforters were not clean. TV had a set code for all streaming channels, but the front desk person didn't know the code. All issues show poor management.

You only get one chance to make a first impression

This is a shiny new hotel that fails miserably on the hospitality level. I won’t be back. The hotel and casino are located far off the highway in the small town of Caruthersville. There is no signage to direct you through the town. When I finally found the hotel, there is confusing signage directing you to “hotel drop off” and “hotel check in” at a building which I learned is an abandoned old casino. After wandering through this deserted building, I found a checkin desk in the new casino but the clerk could not find my prepaid reservation. She was very rude about it, but I persisted until she said “oh, there it is.” She said she could check me in, but I would need to go to a different building to get the keys. So I drove to the actual hotel building where a clerk sat in an empty lobby looking at his phone. I went to the casino for supper, but the only food service is at the bar. The daily special was chicken wings and tater tot basket. After an uncomfortable night with a noisy neighbors in the next room, I asked the desk clerk about breakfast options. She suggested a Casey’s convenience store in another town. So here’s the deal: if there is no breakfast available in the entire town of Caruthersville, then the hotel needs to step up and provide some type of breakfast bar. Until then, guests need to bring their own food. The management of this hotel needs to get its act together.

Nice. Clean. Quiet. One lamp didn't work and the barn door for the bathroom was very hard to open/ close. Bed wasn't comfy. Not bad for the price though.

On our way to Chicago!

This hotel is very nicely renovated and our room was amazing. We picked this hotel because it was we needed a place to stop overnight on our way to Chicago and it was directly across from a casino. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very accommodating when there was a slight confusion with our room type. I only wish we would have stayed longer.

Hotel walls not well insulated, could hear all sorts of noises throughout the night including the people above me walking around. Remote for tv could turn tv on but then wouldn’t work and left me stuck on a screensaver so no tv for me.

Nice property

We were upgraded to a room in the casino. Other than the cigarette smoke in the check-in area, the room was clean, quiet and odor free. There was an issue with the electrical outlet in the bathroom. When using the hair dryer, the breaker tripped and we lost power in the bathroom, and the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.

Restless Night

Hotel was nicely remodeled, however, I could hear every footfall from the room above me and they were stomping around ALL NIGHT so I got no sleep at all. The walls to rooms next to me were so thin you could hear the neighbors talking. Lots of window dressing, no real comfort. Access to the casino was good

No sleep

At first, it appeared very nice. It had been rebuilt 2 years ago, and was very modern. I noticed a big wad of hair on the wall in the bathroom. Upon lying down, I could hear the people in the bext room and the hallway talking at a normal level of volume clearly. They must have very thin walls. The hotel was right next to a casino, and it was very loud after midnight from returning gamblers, I presume. At 4:00 a.m. I gave up trying to sleep and checked out. It was a stopping point for me on my trip from east Texas to my home in Ohio. When I went into the bathroom before I left, I noticed a big wad of toilet paper in the toilet that didn't come from me. It must have come up from the toilet in the next room. It would not flush down. I was disgusted.
