A well positioned hotel about a 10 to 15 mins downhill walk into Ilkley or a few minutes by taxi. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.Good quality toiletries were provided and there was plenty of hot water. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good selection on offer. We didn't have evening dinner as it was quite a limited menu which I believe may be changed soon. All the staff were great, so friendly and helpful. I hope the bar and dining area will be addressed to make a more ambient atmosphere. We did enjoy our stay

Aging building, top two floors roped off and out of use! Breakfast tables badly chipped brown plastic veneer from the 1950s. Only one of the 4 lights in my room actually worked! Staff were pleasant.
