Loud and missing basic amenities

Television and internet did not work. There was no blanket for the bed, only a sheet. Very loud with noise from neighboring ruins and adjacent karaoke bar. Convenient location.

Beware the misleading photographs on booking sites

Great location on Caye Caulker and really friendly and helpful people. The toilet was really dirty when we arrived which wasnt a great first impression and our room (7) had some sort of machinery directly outside which would operate throughout the day and night making it very noisy. The hotel is next door to a bar and restaurant which has karaoke oon until midnight, which further adds to the noise issues. The photographs on various booking sites are very misleading - it gives the impression that the hotel is directly on (or directly opposite) the beach.....rhis is definitely not the case.

The location was great for everything you want to do on the island. The staff was very polite and helpful. We were treated like VIPs. We walked to everything and always felt safe, day or night. The rooms were clean, the showers were warm with good water pressure and the beds were comfortable. Each room has its own little deck with chairs. Coffee and endless water were provided at the lobby. The only drawback for some may be the bar next door, but we really enjoyed it and even participated in the Karaoke night. The music was a little loud on the weekend, but it didn't bother us, we were there to have a good time. We had two rooms for a pair of 50 yr. olds and two college students. Worked out great. We enjoyed every minute on Caye Caulker. Would definitely stay at The Bounty again!

I booked this as an affordable place to stay while I explored Caye. All I needed was clean & safe and this place checks those boxes. The staff were all very nice. It’s located on the main drag next to one of the most popular bars so it was loud. The first night a lady screamed and swore ALL NIGHT LONG. I was surprised that they don’t give a blanket, just a top sheet. The bed was quite hard but I still slept fine. There was lots of sand in the bed, I assumed from me stepping on the floor. But I didn’t bring sand in. The tv has very limited options. The shower pours outside the shower, nothing you can do about that. It’s a design flaw. So the floor got soaked. But other than that it was fine. A little pricey for what you get.

I stayed here two nights and had no issues. The room is no frills but had what i needed. There is a restaurant with live music next door but it didnt keep me up. Easy to get to from the ferry and close to the Split.

A lovely spot with great staff!

We had a wonderful time at The Bounty! It's got charming bohemian vibes, centrally located, and staff member Jules was super-great! Our trip was cut short by the approach of hurricane Beryl, but Jules made sure that we were in good shape and got us on the last ferry back to the mainland. We were very grateful for his help. Also, The Bounty was just across the street from the dive shop we did our diving with, and next door to the restaurant that cooked our fresh lobsters for us! We look forward to returning to Caye Caulker and The Bounty!
