The property looks exactly like the pictures and the name speaks for itself. It is very clean and feels nice and cozy. It was the perfect location as it was walking distance from the downtown area. The area is very quiet and feels safe. The hostess was very nice and responded quickly to our request. If I visit again I would love to stay here!

We stayed here for several nights and used this as a place to sleep. La Fortuna is an exciting place with so much to do. There is hiking, swimming, white water rafting, sight seeing, and a fun night life. The apartment was clean and stocked with the basics. For the low price we paid this was perfect for my family of four to have a place to sleep after long days of exploring this fun and beautiful area. The neighborhood is obviously residential but you are only a few blocks from the busy downtown with lots of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a great apartment just a few short blocks from town. Our hosts arranged for taxi service to La Fortuna Waterfalls and EcoThermales spa. The apartment has lots of space and everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation. We walked to a nice local supermarket and bought and prepared all of our meals at the apartment. However, there are many good restaurants within walking distance. We will stay there again. We highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Arenal Cozy Apartment ( Dec 28-Dec 31st) and were highly impressed with the experience. The host was very nice and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment was located in a safe area and was within walking distance of La Fortuna downtown which was convenient for exploring the city. In addition to the great accommodations, the host was also very helpful in providing support for planning our travels. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this short-term rental. This apartment is comfortable for 4 people.

Comfortable and safe

Overall it was a very good stop on our extended trip. Milton was friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The apt. was in good shape and in a quiet area, within a short walk to the main part of town. The only negative things were a dearth of essentials, e.g. there was only a one burner hotplate, one pot, one wok style fry pan, no salt, no sugar, etc. I spoke with Milton and he said he will be adding these things, as the rental is new, and still being outfitted. The building is in excellent condition.

This place is a gem! It was actually a bit nicer than the photos. It's truly has a cozy feel and so nice to have two separate bedrooms, plus living room, bar dining table, and kitchen. Plus there is a mud sink and clothing line area so you can hand wash clothes and dry it. There is parking right in front and the host is super responsive. After I booked, he sent a "hi/welcome" message immediately. The day we arrived, he provided the room # and access code. We were low on toilet paper during our stay and I messaged him on the Expedia chat and he responded immediately and came with extra rolls within two hours. The area is safe and walkable to the main streets with restaurants, grocery stores, etc. There is an AC unit in each bedroom so the temperature is very nice. For the shower, to get hot water, you do have to put it on a low setting (with less pressure) so turn the knob just a little. The more water pressure you get, the less warm the water will be. If you are considering this place, I highly recommend it!

The condo was close to downtown but too far to walk although there was plenty of free parking available. The condo was clean but not very comfortable. The couch had no cushions and was made of rubber bands. There was no toaster or microwave and there wasn’t 1 tv although the connection points were on the wall. The roof was metal so when it rained you could hear banging all night long so it was very loud and made it hard to sleep. The worst part that makes me give this place 2 stars is the fact that the condo next door had started construction the day we arrived. The drilling started at 6:45 am and didn’t end until 5 pm every day! It was definitely not relaxing. Do not stay here until it is finished. The host was very nice and did communicate with me, but ultimately our stay was not enjoyable.

Atouts : quelques items de base disponibles : café, tisanes, sucre, huile, etc. Communication et service rapides faits avec courtoisie.Merci! Je recommanderais cet endroit pour de courts séjours (2 ou 3 nuits). Raisons : tabourets de cuisine et causeuse peu confortables, cuisson à induction une plaque pas évidente pour cuisiner un repas, manque d'ustensiles de cuisine (un seul couteau peu coupant, pas de spatule, etc. ), pas de micro-ondes, ni grille-pain. Pas de rangement ni de lampes de chevet dans les chambres. Merci pour l'accueil!
