The hotel was incredibly quiet in August- we had the huge dining room to ourselves so it was almost rather eerie! The decor is a little faded but so what?! The location by the lake is lovely and the whole area very calm and peaceful. The lake was great to swim in using the hotel's dock. The best things about the hotel were the staff (although we really only dealt with one young lady who seemed to do everything and was always on duty!). She made our stay by allowing us to change rooms, (and upgrading us!) as we had booked a room with a double bed. The menu in the dining room was comprehensive and the food absolutely delicious. Breakfast offered plenty of choice too, even though there were only a few guests. Value for money - we had a very relaxing stay.

Sopivasti kesälomareissumme paluumatkan varrella, yövyttiin 2 yötä kun kaikki tuntui natsaavan kohdilleen. Menneiltä vuosikymmeniltä tuttu paikka, väliin jo suljettu ja nyt seurantaan lähteekö uudella konseptilla. Uusi omistaja panostanut jo paljon ja palvelu oli vähintäänkin hyvällä tolalla. Kätevä ja kauniilla paikalla, Puruveden rannalla.

Sopivasti kesälomareissumme paluumatkan varrella, yövyttiin 2 yötä kun kaikki tuntui natsaavan kohdilleen. Menneiltä vuosikymmeniltä tuttu paikka, väliin jo suljettu ja nyt seurantaan lähteekö uuteen kukoistukseen (osin rapautumisen jälkeen). Uusi omistaja panostanut jo paljon ja palvelu oli vähintäänkin hyvällä tolalla. Kätevä ja kauniilla paikalla, Puruveden rannalla.

Kai ihan ookoo..

Kokonaisuuteen nähden kovasti ylihintainen, henkilökunta ystävällistä, tilat siistejä, saunaosasto mukava ja vesi miellyttävän lämmintä. Huoneissa ei ollut baarikaappia/jääkaappia, huoneen molemmat(!!) yövalot olivat pimeinä, telkkari pieni ja vanhanaikainen, aamupala hintaansa nähden vaatimaton: Molemmat mehut loppu, muna-nakki-pekoni kaikki kylmiä ja leipävalikoima surkea ja sekin mitä oli, kuivaa. Lopuksi tulleet karjalanpiirakat pelastivat hiukan. Vain yksi henkilö (yritti kyllä parhaansa) hoitamassa kaikkea tätä, joten siksi ymmärrettävää.

Erinomainen kohde lapsiperheelle

Hotelli oli positiivinen yllätys lapsiperheelle. Siisti ja puhdas tilava allasosasto löylyineen, altaalta suora käynti järvelle. Hotelli sijaitsee upealla paikalla, huone oli uudehko, tilava ja puhdas. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Vanhan rakennuksen putkistossa lienee ongelmia, käytävällä pieni vesivahinko ja sakka-auto kävi pihalla mutta meidän oloon ei vaikuttanut mitenkään. Tulisimme uudelleen :)

Hotelli oli kauniilla ja rauhallisella paikalla. Sauna, uima-allas sekä ulkouintimahdollisuudet olivat hyvät. Lakanat puhtaat ja sängyt siistit. Kylpyhuone oli silminnähden ja hajun perusteella homeessa sekä kaakelit irtoilivat ja saumaukset repsottivat, hotelli ei sovi sisäilmaoireisille. Aamiainen oli vaatimaton.

Ok hinta-laatu suhde

Hyvä asiakaspalvelu, siistit tilat ja loistava sijainti ja maisemat. Suihkusta ei tullut lämmintä vettä ja märkätiloista puuttui lattialasta ja märkä lattia vaikeutti vessassa käymistä. Huoneessa ei ollut ilmastointia, mutta siitä huolimatta ei ollut liian kuuma nukkua. Aamupala oli ihan ok, mutta lihatuotteita olisi joutunut odottelemaan.

Upea sijainti! Siisteys ja hiljaisuus olivat hyvät, mukavat huoneet. Aamupala oli olematon, ei ole hotellitason aamupala: leipävaihtoja oli yksi, munakkaat paistettu edellisenä iltana ja kylmänä tarjoiltiin, pekonit olivat raakoja. Aamupalasta maksoimme erikseen varauksen yhteydessä.

Kiva paikka

Mukava ja rauhallinen paikka. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja hoitivat hommansa hienosti. Illalla käytiin hotellin ravintolassa syömässä ja kyllä kokki osasi hommansa tosi hyvin. Aamiainen oli huippu hyvää ja vielä kuoharit oli tarjolla mitä ei isojen hotelliketjujen aamiaisilla ole. Kiitokset ja tullaan toistekin 👍

Lämmintä vettä ei hanasta tullut, respan täti laski vettä minuutti tolkulla ja väitti vähä väliä että nyt tulee lämmintä. Ei tullut. Huoneen saimme lopulta vaihdettua. Vaikka hotellissa ei asiakkaita juurikaan ollut ei löytynyt toista perhehuonetta vaan saimme tavallisen huoneen. Perhehuoneessa ei edes ollut ilmalämpöpumppua mutta tavallisen huoneen ilmalämpöpumpussa ei ollut kylmäaineita. Yön aikana oli ollut myös sähköt pois päältä koska puhelimet ei yön aikana olleet latautuneet. Aamulapala oli riittävä, kokki oli saanut loihdittua monipuolisuutta hyvin vähäisillä raaka-aineilla. Hotellilta oltiin lähtiessämme pahoillaan epäkohdista, mutta selkeästi toivottiin että lähdemme ilman vaatimuksia pois. Vaikka olimme sesonkiaikaan liikkeellä ravintolan keittiö oli kiinni perjantai iltana klo 20. Kylän ainoa ruokapaikka n 3km päässä. Paikka on jämähtänyt 80 luvulle ja henkilökunnalla ei ole osaamista tai halua asiakaspalveluun. Jos haluat nukkua hyvin, suosittelen välttämään tätä paikkaa
