I was overwhelmed with the friendly charm of this extraordinary hotel. Astonishing value for money. So different from the soul-less concrete and glass boxes that normally await the travellers. The idiosyncratic, tasteful decoration is a treat for the eyes. Ben has an air of calm good humour that makes even the weariest arrival feel at home.

Beware of this property

The good: located at the hearth of old town. Property is small but beautifully furnished. Hot water at all times. WiFi available. Simple but great breakfast. The bad: elevator only for first and second levels. There are plenty of in-between levels and higher floors where you need to bring the luggage through tiny corridors and steep stairs. The ugly (almost evil): the owner of the property wouldn’t honor our booked room, arguing that “Expedia group is crazy offering those prices, that he could sell our booked room for 5x the price we paid so he would be glad to cancel our room and re-sell it, and that we should thank him for even assigning a room for us, AT ALL”. That same owner was very “jovial” during the next morning and told us to understand him and that the problem was Expedia Group, not him”.

Best Hotel to Stay in Brussels

Estuvimos con la familia en el Hotel Mozart y ha sido una experiencia muy agradable. Ben Amhed ha sido un anfitrión estupendo. Amable, generoso, y muy simpático. Esperamos volver a verle en un futuro. Sin duda repetiríamos este hotel para un próximo viaje. 100% recomendable para cualquier viajero. Ubicación excepcional. La mejor de Bruselas, a una calle de la Grand Place. Gracias.

Gem in the centre of Brussels

We had an amazing stay at hotel Mozart. It is literally just off the main square in Brussels and all the main tourist place are in easy walking distance. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. He filled us in on all the best places to go. He had the whole family laughing and relax in no time. The hotel itself was just amazing so lovingly decorated in a Moroccan style everywhere you looked was something amazing to see. The room was very clean and beds were so comfy. I have a rare spinal cord disease and was afraid I would have sleepless nights which can often happen when we travel and instead I slept soundly. Breakfast in the morning was juice, coffee, a huge croissant and a huge slice of French stick, with cheese and jam. It really setup you up for the day. You could also order from a menu. If we never go back to Brussels we will definitely return to hotel Mozart

Love at first sight!

We loved the Hotel Mozart! From the fabulous interior styling, walls, floors, stairs, all done in mosiacs, to the lovely interior garden, to the wonderful breakfasts every morning, if we go back to Brussels, it will be to the Hotel Mozart. It's probably not everyone's taste, because it's a work of art inside, but to my friend and me it was terrific.

Hidden Gem, Great Location, Friendly Staff!

I recently stayed at Hotel Mozart and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is decorated in a Moroccan style throughout and is beautiful. The courtyard garden is a delightful addition. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes walk from the main square and around 10 minutes walk from other tourist sites such as the Manniken Pis as well as other restaurants and bars. Hotel Mozart also has a cafe during the day - the mint tea is done in the traditional Moroccan style and is delicious. Breakfast is basic but does the job and is delicious. The bathroom is basic but has excellent water pressure and a hairdryer which works! Rooms overlooking the main street have background noise but the beds are super comfy. I plan to stay at the Hotel Mozart next time I come to Brussels and would recommend you do too!

A hotel transported from North Africa

Was a bit sceptical after reading some older reviews but everything was clean and tidy and building maintained well Considering what must be a unique style. Lift was small so if you do have lots of luggage take note. Breakfast staff polite and courteous. Breakfast not extensive but croissants good. Some cats about so if allergic be aware
