I had a very positive experience at Hotel Gigi. Super easy check in- everything is done online. There’s a mini grocery very close by, a Starbucks, Grocery Outlet and restaurants nearby. The room is perfect for 1 person as it is small but adorable. Rita is great- I believe she’s the hotel manager-you can call her if you have questions since there is no receptionist or staff on site. I’d definitely go back. If you’re not too fussy and you just need basic amenities, Hotel Gigi is great. The only thing I would say that could be improved is the hotel sign. It is very small and hard to find.

Location is good, price reasonable, but has first night someone was doing work repairs and was way to noisy, second night someone guest were fighting and there was nobody to ask for help. Wont recommend this for families staying. Also had issues receiving the entry codes till after check in:

It was a pleasant stay at Hotel Gigi. The room is clean, cozy, and reasonably priced. The location is convenient and is within walking distance to the convention center and the Petco Park. There is a small grocery store right around the corner too. The staff/owner are very responsive when help is needed. I had some passcode issues with the newly installed digital door lock for my room, but I got help immediately with a call. It is a self-service hotel, so if you are looking for luxurious hotel experience with amenities and room service, it might not be suitable for you.
