Somos is a small boutique hotel, room is trendy but size is definitely on a smaller side. Hotel staffs are friendly and if you send them a whatsapp, they will always answer your questions promptly. The location of the hotel is nice, lots of cafes and restaurants surrounded.

Perfect stay in Medellin!

We were SO happy we found The Somos Bold. The location is perfect—in a charming and quieter part of El Poblado, but still full of cute cafes and amazing restaurants, and a 15-min walk to the metro. The hotel is beautiful, with a brand new roof bar with incredible views, and the room was super comfortable—great bed and shower, and we had a private balcony with a jacuzzi! And the service was impeccable. The front desk staff were so friendly, warm, and attentive. We felt so taken care of and had a wonderful visit. We hope to return!

I recently stayed at The Somos Bold hotel. Everything was great. The property is located in a safe neighborhood and it is near great shoppings and restaurants. The only negative thing that I would say about the hotel is that there’s no phone in the rooms, which makes it inconvenient for when you need something. You’ll have to go to the front desk to ask. Otherwise great great place.

I was booked here for three nights but only stayed one. The first night was fine, but I was not prepared for how compact and closely intertwined the rooms are. You are literally hugging your neighbor. When the family arrived on the afternoon of my first full day, it was too much. I was recovering from 14 hours of airline flights and stopovers and just wanted to relax. I could hear the other guests talking in the next room, and they had a habit of slamming their door when coming and going. I fortunately found a very comfortable hotel less than two miles away. I’d say if you’re in Medellin to party and spend little time in your hotel, Somos is fine. If you’re seeking to unwind and relax, this is not the place.
