Excellent hotel

The hotel location is convenient and close to most scenic spots. The staff, Fabricio and Leonardo, are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and cozy. They provided us an iPad to use during our stay, which is very useful in our trip. The complimentary tea and happy hour also brightened our trip!

Great hotel!

No getting around that first flight of stairs, but the hotel is worth it! Very clean & beautiful. The staff goes above & beyond! The happy hours & breakfasts are excellent & there’s a wonderful restaurant right across the street. I loved this place!

Excellent stay just blocks from the Duomo!

Excellent stay for 3 nights in this recently renovated hotel in the heart of Florence! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially Leonardo at the front desk. Room was more than spacious for two of us with a very comfortable king bed and daybed and very clean. Breakfast was included with our room and was more than adequate with meats, cheeses, breads and croissants, pastries and espresso/cappuccino/coffee made to order. Davanzati also has a tea in the afternoon as well as a cocktail hour with complementary wine and beer. Was a nice start to our evening out! Location is excellent just a few blocks walk to the Duomo and all other Florence sites, museums, markets and restaurants (La Grotta Guelfa around the corner was excellent!). Note that the hotel entrance is up a flight of stairs from street level where you can then take the elevator up to the lobby. Highly recommend Hotel Davanzati!

This hotel was so cute and location was awesome! The street has shopping and a short walk from the train station. Leonardo at the front desk amazing and helpful! The breakfast was great and staff was friendly. Our room had an open window to the front street and it was fun to open it and people watch. I would stay here again.

Nice, well located hotel in the heart of Florence

Very well located hotel, in the middle of the old city, and just 10 min walking distance from the train station. You need to climb some stairs to get to the elevator that takes you to the lobby. May be difficult for folks with some disabilities. Other than that, the hotel was very nice, staff was super friendly, continental breakfast included was good.

Beautiful boutique hotel with very attentive staff. My only complaint - the breakfast hostess was not very friendly and delighted in slamming every dish she could. Made breakfast less enjoyable. Really enjoyed afternoon tea and happy hour. Also, I appreciated Leonardo showing us to our room. Extra touches make this a a hotel that I would highly recommend.

Es dificil identificar el Hotel porque la entrada es por una puerta pequeña, y ahi subes por unas escaleras bien pequeñas y angostas, y ves la cantidad de escalones que hay que subir con tus maletas piensas si fue la mejor opción alquilar en ese hotel. Cuando identificas el lobby y llegas, aunque es un hotel nice el personal hizo la diferencia, Elvis fue muy antento y explicaba todos los servicios disponibles y nos llevó hasta la entrada de la habitación. Pero la diferencia la hizo Beni en los desayunos, todos los dias y a todos los que llegaban daba un Buongiorno con mucha alegria, y siempre está pendiente a tu cafe y que haya alimentos para los clientes. Ella fue el empleado que hizo mejorar la percepción del hotel, excelente recurso humano. It is difficult to identify the hotel because the entrance is through a small door, and there you go up some very small and narrow stairs, and you see the number of steps you have to climb with your suitcases and you wonder if it was the best option to rent in that hotel. When you identify the lobby and arrive, although it is a nice hotel, the staff made the difference. Elvis was very attentive and explained all the services available and took us to the entrance of the room. But the difference was made by Beni at breakfast, every day and to everyone who arrived she gave a Buongiorno with great joy, and she is always attentive to your coffee and to make sure there is food for the clients. Staff was very, very accommodating. Room was good. Unexpected free happy hour every afternoon/evening. First 20 steps to the lobby and elevator are tough with luggage, but not bad once you are checked in. Would give it a 4.5/5 if I could.

Kudos to Angelo at the front desk. He was very friendly and helpful with getting us settled and our car valet parked after an exciting drive into the ZTL zone of Florence via the twisty roads from Siena. Would recommend the drive, but definitely not for the faint of heart. We stayed in an awesome suite with a private terrace. Easy walking distance to everything. Many very good restaurants all around. Not too expensive, we averaged about €100 for two people per evening meal, usually including a bottle of wine. Breakfast was very good, with custom made Espressos and Cappuccinos. Wine happy hour every evening.

Welcoming, fabulous hotel!

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcomed. The room was spacious and clean, and had every amenity, including a sound machine! The breakfast was delicious and the happy hour and tea time drinks and snacks were a delightful option to enjoy and to get to know the other guests. Location could not be beat - a few minutes walk to everything!
