Apparently, there is a vast difference between your platform's standards and common sense regarding what constitutes a 5-star hotel. This is definitely not a 5-star property; it felt more like a 3-star, and if I had known this beforehand, I would never have selected it.
The room was dirty, featuring peeling walls, and the mattress felt like sleeping on a wooden board. The bathroom was in an indescribable state: there was simply a shower with a filthy, rusty faucet and broken fixtures. There was no shower tray or enclosure, meaning you had to stand directly on the bathroom floor to take a shower, right next to the toilet.
Furthermore, the reception was only available during specific hours (which l am okay if l am staying at a 3* hotel), so l had to call them to come, because l had to leave very early in the morning and also debit cards were not accepted.
It was an experience I want to forget. I mostly blame your platform rather than the hotel itself—even though their photos looked much fancier than reality—for featuring and misrepresenting this property as a 5-star hotel instead of a 3-star one.
