The place is good and as advertised, steps away from magic sands beach. We had a great time. I am only giving it 3.5 stars because of the painful check-in process and a few other minor details.
I was scheduled to check-in at 4:00pm. I arrived around 2:30pm and started looking for my check-in instructions and I couldn’t find them. They failed to send me the instructions email 24 hour prior my check-in. It took me a while to find their customer service contact info but I found it and I called. I got two different emails from Grand Welcome, one was an e-sign agreement and the other a guest verification notification requiring action. I was able to e-sign without an issue but the guest verification email had a link to a Truvi website where I supposed to complete a bunch of steps. I was half way through the process when I was prompted to login and enter a password that I didn’t have because I don’t have an account. It was a painful hour and a half of back and forth under 80 degrees weather and poor reception.
We had a great time. As advertised, the place is within walking distance from beautiful magic sands beach. We also enjoyed their pool and hot tub. They have plenty of cookware that we were able to use and save money by not having to eat out. However, I feel like they can improve minor details. For instance, we were a party of six and we ran out of toilet paper the last day. Another issue I has was the bed. It made loud noise with any minimum movement.
