Mehh. Needs updating. And improvements

It was cute on arrival but definitely could have a few suggestions- such as on welcome offering entertainment options dining options in the area as someone whose never been there before. Secondly, there needs more lighting outside the rooms at night at least 2 more small lights by the room numbers. 3rd there was 2 towels available for a reservation for a family of 5. There was no phone to call the front and its far from where we were put. The number i called on the papers they provide is for an off site receptionist or at least thats what she said when i called. We also had ants in our room the second day. 1 piece of food fell under the table near the tv and the next morning we had a trail of ants from the bathroom so we checked out Saturday night even though we paid till sunday. We were also told the pool was not in service due to a chemical imbalance but then the next morning people were in the pool? So not sure why we were told it was not an option.

Atomic Fun in Flagstaff

This is a fun stop for a quiet night's sleep if you're gettin' your kicks on Route 66. It may be an old-school, basic motor inn, but the atomic space theme is charmingly kitschy with tons of thoughtful details that elevate the travel experience. The room decor, including mid-century wall paneling, spinning disco ball, and even a "Playmate" cooler standing ready to pack a picnic took me right back to the 70s of my youth. Outdoor amenities are a nice perk for families, too. A playground with view of surrounding mountains makes a great spot to let the kids get that cooped up car trip energy out of their system! Finally, the best thing about the Americana is the friendly and helpful service. I'd definitely land here again next time I'm in the area.

Comfortable stop on a cross country trip

1st things first... Loved that we were met at check-in with a welcome beverage (it had been a long day driving!). Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Property is extremely dog friendly... Includes a dog park and a dog wash station. Check out at noon meant that we could sleep in and still take a small hike before moving on. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Loved this place! It was quirky and unique and in a great location! Staff was always friendly and helpful, amenities were great! I’d definitely stay here again! The disco ball in the room was so fun and loved the evenings by the fire pit after a long day of adventures!

Nice hotel, room choice was misleading

We mostly enjoyed our stay at the Americana. The look of the hotel was nice. The outdoor fire pit area was a great place to relax and enjoy the weather. However, we did find some things that were misleading. We booked the mid sized Queen room, rather than the mini full sized room. Our bed was definitely a full sized bed, not a queen bed. I brought it up with the front desk and was just told that the room was “listed as a queen.” In that way, I felt cheated, like I overpaid for the room. The other thing was the hours for the Bajamar restaurant were posted 9am-9pm daily. It closed on Sunday at 4pm and never reopened before we left on Tuesday at 11am. It was a bummer because I was excited to try it for at least one of our meals during our 2-day stay. We come to Flagstaff often, but I’m not sure if I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay,the room appears updated chic as the bathroom was clean They have a great pool area,Grass areas with firepits & corn hole,a small stoe that sold beer & a large dog run/ kennel.The location was a 5/7 min.drive to downtown.we will stay again!

Great stay 100% would recommend

We loved this place, they really did a great job with the updated retro vibe. Our stay was great, and we have already recommended this hotel to several people. We were traveling with our dog and loved the fully fenced in off leash area as well as making use of several of the outdoor tables. The only complaint I would give was the hours of the little restaurant on site don’t seem accurate, we only saw lights on indicating that it open once during our entire 5 night stay.
