The experience was wonderful. The ambiance of the restored house with original hardwood and inlays, the attention to details in even the ceiling fixtures was a delight for the eyes. Likewise, having a hot meal daily between 8:30AM -10:30AM is worth another visit. In addition, learning about the historical facts about the property was insightful. Therefore, the Oaklawn Inn is excellent with a daily hot freshly cooked different meal served, great hospitality, and historical facts that will make anyone appreciate the Victorian Era. Wonderful weekend getaway

Stephanie has done an amazing job of restoring this Victorian home to it's former glory. It's beautiful and comfortable. Stephanie is an excellent hostess offering hot beverages & snacks anytime and a wonderful gormet breakfast in the morning. She also has a nice collection of stories & pictures of her home, the former owners and history of the area. I can highly recommend staying here.
