Pros: The staff were polite and responsive, I even got a table and extra chair brought. My AC worked better than expected. The location was perfect to explore old Town. The chef was somewhat accommodating with minor adjustment to the offered continental bfast. The wifi worked great at all times. Great views of Tudor creek and the city from the rooftop. Cons: I had to move from my double room to a single because of sewer and tobacco smell with no charge adjustment. The swimming is a joke and shared with many apartments residents on 10 of the 13 floors as the hotel only occupies 2nd floor. The indicated washing machine is non-existent but the staff wash by hand and iron for slightly less than a dollar per piece.

Hotelli oli vilkkaalla alueella ja kyytejä sai helposti. Hotelli on rakennuksen toisessa kerroksessa hissin päässä. Huone tilava, sänky hyvä, ilmastointi ja toimiva pesuhuone/ Wc. Lämmintä vettä tuli suihkusta, jääkaappi huoneessa. Hiljainen nukkua. Aamiainen hyvä. Ystävällinen palvelu vastaanotossa ja keittiössä, vaikka tulkin välityksellä ( aamiainen). Parasta katolla oleva uima-allas, jossa puhdas vesi ja hieno näköala. Auki 24/7, aamu- uinnilla ei ketään muita. Paras paikka pitkään aikaan!

Better not stay here

Staff was lovely. But the rooms have no windows - they lead only to the hallway which is always artificially illuminated. Very unpleasant lights inside the room and bathroom. I think they tried to ensure cleaniness, but it needs improving. For breakfast no options, only bread and eggs, we asked for fruits and got a nice mango juice though, I appreciate - thank you.

It’s average

I’m not sure why anyone actually goes to Mombasa. I stayed 1 night because I had an early flight next morning so the hotel didn’t matter much but it’s not a place to stay more than a night or to spend time in. It’s very simple but clean. There was 2 free water bottles which was good.

Muhammad at the reception was very proffesional and friendly. The entire team, hotel room, hotel restaurant everything was just amazing. Location is a walking distance to all restaurants and shops.

Book this hotel if you dont have no options.

Walked in and first thing I see I couple cockroaches running around. And a smelly bathroom, I called in the receptionist to have rooms switched but she came in with a cockroach pesticide and handed it to me to spray the room. Housekeeping will knock on your door around 10 even though the door hanger’s isn’t placed out to have room service. Bed and Ac was OK.

Little too noisy

Location are good if you like to wake up 5:15 morning because mosq are opposite of road. Streetnoise also. Rooms are ok if locks and shower works. I feel like they dont like much western tourist here. Breakfast was very good but customservise not so good.

Please do an assessment to save life of your clients. Below the problems found in City Center Hotel: 1. No electricity from 03:25AM up to 11:00AM 2. I changed 2 times room because leak from tap and shower 3. No water and when asked the manager > Because the technician forgot to check level of the water tanks 4. Rooms not clean 5. Noise because the building of the hotel is a shop 6. Swimming pool is not safe 7. The staff never said the true

It was impossible to close the window, outside there was a balcony so anyone could have entered the room. The bedroom was ok, electric plug hanging off the wall that need fixing. There was a strong smell of sewerage coming from the bathroom.
