Dishonest lady knew, but did not care to tell her guests the hotel were out of hot water (again…). Pretended to ”look into” a refund but that was just a charade. Never replied again. After a loong hot day on the train we would never even consider a hotel without shower. Also - Built like a room in the room, with the only window/balcony door to a corridor with windows. Also not safe to open window to the corridor since they stash stuff there, and it is shared with other rooms. No info on that either. We also woke up from noises in the corridor..

What a great find. Lovely location, Deborah on reception was fantastic and very helpful. The rooms were very well appointed and clean. Not the most obvious to find. If you go, head through the big door and turn right.

Quirky boutique hotel

Previous reviews mention some of the quirks of this hotel - no reception in the evening, no obvious entrance, electronic key to the external door, etc. However, inside you will find a lovely, modernised room with space, good shower, and comfortable bed. The location is superb - easy walking to the Duomo, the Brera district and next to the Castello Sforzesco. They responded quickly when I had a problem with the external door key - a guy came to allow me entry with an actual key. It’s a great place to stay if you can accept there is no reception after 5pm. I would stay again.

Ett utmärkt hotell som jag rekommenderar starkt! Det är gångavstånd till alla populära sevärdheter i Milano. Bra skick, lagom stora rum, tyst i rummen trots sitt centrala läge, service Slottet finns tvärsöver gatan bara.

I had an excellent experience with Couper Castello and would certainly come back. The room and facilities are exquisitely decorated, Debora is a fantastic host, the central location is great and you are literally across the street from Castello Sforzesco! I will mention a few things that were not negatives to me, but people should be aware prior to booking: - This is not a conventional hotel, so you should not expect 24/7 staff on site, amenities, etc. They do housekeeping daily and the host is on site during business hours. - The facility is located inside a historical building, so the elevator is dated, if that matters to you. - The room I stayed at had a window, but no view. Not sure about others. Very memorable experience and looking forward to being back some day.

Décevant niveau rapport qualité prix

Sejour en plein centre de Milan, chose très positive. Chambre avec un rapport qualité-prix décevant. Plus d'eau chaude lorsque l'on rentre le soir sans réponse ni aide de la réception avant le lendemain matin... Propriété tres bien. Sécurité moyenne avec une porte fenetre qui communique avec le couloir et la chambre voisine. Petite boulangerie juste en bas au top pour les petits dej. Metro au pied de l'immeuble. Gare qui relie l'aéroport à 6 minutes à pied.

Da migliorare esperienza cliente

La location é piccola, cosi' come le camere che risultano comunque comode, soprattutto per una sola notte come nel ,mio caso. Non ho apprezzato il fatto di arrivare e di non trovare nessuno per il check in, ne di non aver ricevuto alcuna indicazione in tal senso via email, pur comprendendo il fatto di aver riservato all'ultimo momento. Sono riuscito ad avere le prime indicazioni dopo aver chiamato ripetutamente un numero che ho dovuto richiamare una volta entrato nella location per capire quale tra le chiavi, appoggiate sul banco senza nome, dovessi prendere per entrare in camera (auto check in). La mattina alle 10.20 sono andato via e in reception ancora nessuno, sono stato poco dopo richiamato per lasciare documento e pagare tassa di soggiorno, fortunatamente ero vicino e sono tornato per sbrigare queste pratiche, preferirei comunque trovare sempre una persona in entrata ed in uscita alla reception. Con l'enorme scelta presente su milano dunque non credo tornero' in questo hotel.

Excellent service

We had a great time, check in smooth although you gotta check in in person by 4:40pm, otherwise virtual check in. We were celebrating our anniversary so Benedetta left us a surprise, soooo happy!! Thank you. Location amazing, so close to the castle and to Cadorna Station, Only 10 min walk from il Duomo. Will go back if visiting Milan again.

The hotel itself was very difficult to find. We were thankful that we came during the staffed hours so that we could be properly let in otherwise we would’ve had difficulty finding the property and our room. Otherwise the staff was great and very helpful. We were able to drop off bags before our room was ready and the room was very cute.
