Schönes Hotel

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Zimmer sind wirklich schön eingerichtet – modern, sauber und mit einem tollen Ausblick. Allerdings sind die Zimmer eher klein, was uns aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das super freundliche Personal, das jederzeit hilfsbereit und aufmerksam war. Die Garage ist kostenlos, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Man muss zwar etwa 150 Meter bergauf zum Hotel gehen, aber bei der Ankunft wird man bequem mit einem Golfcar abgeholt – ein netter Service! Das Essen im Hotel ist qualitativ sehr gut, aber unserer Meinung nach etwas zu teuer. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls gut, aber nach zwei bis drei Tagen fehlte uns etwas Abwechslung. Wichtig zu wissen: Man braucht definitiv ein Auto, da es im Dorf selbst nicht viel gibt. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier aber genau richtig. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Our stay at the Villa Clementina was spectacular. This villa is owned by the sweetest family (Barbara and Remo). When staying here we felt as though we were apart of the family. The staff is wonderful (especially Orietta, Anisa, Roberta, and Colin). Mery and Gheeta did a fabulous job at keeping our rooms tidy and were very friendly. Everyone was attentive, warm, and open. Chef Paolo is a master chef, we ate every dinner at the villa. His food was the best we had in Italy. We miss everyone, and cannot wait to stay again.

Beautiful and extremely well run.

We got off to a rough start as we found ourselves standing in the rain at the bus stop for Colono and no taxis in site. Because of communication problems we did not know how close we were to the hotel but the street was dangerous to walk on, especially in the rain. After 45 minutes a cab driver came by and took us the 200 meters to a bit of a complicated entrance to the Hotel. After that it was pure bliss, starting with the very apologetic golf cart driver who took us up the steep hill to the hotel. I want to emphazize that the staff was 100 percent all over making our stay wonderful. It has a beautiful dining room and superb food. They do have a jacuzzi but it didn’t have a cover and wasn’t kept at the usual 102 degrees Fahrenheit. For some reason, even in the rainy October time in which we were there the room stayed too warm for me but maybe I wasn’t working the thermostat correctly. But again, wonderful hotel and top notch staff !

The staff was so welcoming and kind to us. The room was very clean and comfortable. The scenery was beautiful. They have a restaurant right there and the food was delicious. We had a five star dinner and breakfast! I would recommend this hotel to all my friends!

We had the best 4 days at Villa Clementia. Not sure where to start but everything was perfect… from the positive attitude of the staff, the owners, the delicious meals, fantastic setting. We absolutely loved this place. The rooms were beautifully appointed.

Schönes Boutique Hotel, eher zu teuer

Die Ankunft war schwierig. Das Garagetor war per Zufall offen; mit dem angebotenen Telefon ging es NICHT auf! Dann steht man in der Garage und geht -wie empfohlen- mit dem Lift nach oben. Dort sind es einzig Wegweiser, die den recht steilen Weg zum Hotel weisen. Keinerlei link, wie man die Reception erreicht. Diese hat nämlich einen kleinen Bus mit dem das Gepäck transportiert werden könnte. An der Rezeption wurde es noch etwas schwieriger!! Keine eigentliche Begrüs, keine Frage “wie war die Reise” oder so. Both Passport please und dann: “ you must pay now 580. Euros “!!!! Freundlicher geht’s offenbar nicht!! Da will man eigentlich grad wieder gehen. Das Hotel in der 2. Saison ist sehr schön. Die Möbel und die Einrichtungen gediegen elegant, die Parkanlage gepflegt, der Pool etwas klein aber die Aussicht, auch von unserer Terrasse einmalig !! Das Zimmer wiederum eher klein, zwischen Wand und Bett passt keine Schuhgröße 43…. - für diesen Preis etwas enttäuschend. Am Abend das Essen ausgezeichnet- meine Frau meinte, noch nie so eine gute Lasagne verspiesen zu haben. Und auch die toskanische Fischsuppe war lecker, einzig fehlte ein Nebenteller für die Muscheln und Crevettenschalen und allenfalls ein Schälchen Wasser um die Hände nach dem Muschelöffnen zu waschen. Aber sonst sehr angenehm in dem allerdings eher kleinen Speisesaal; es wird interessant sein, wo all die Gäste nach der geplanten Vergrößerung unterkommen….?Alles in Allem eine schöne Hotelanlage, gute Küche, teuer!
