Having just spent two nights at this wonderful hotel I can easily understand why just about every review here is 10 out o10. This is a fantastic almost perfect hotel. The owners, a sweet young married couple, are clearly utterly devoted to this hotel and every touch has their signature. The stay was perfect, the room wonderful, cozy and comfortable and they cannot do enough for you. 11 out of 10!

WOW, what an amazing place! We stayed for one night as part of a big birthday celebrations, but wish we’d stayed longer. It’s absolutely beautiful. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Luxurious hotel and gardens

This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place.

Worth every penny. Beautiful surroundings, kind and welcoming staff. We stayed here for our silver wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. There is no restaurant for evening meals but there are loads of great restaurants in town which are within walking distance. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Magnifique halte dans cet écrin de verdure à deux-pas du centre-ville de Saumur, site entièrement sécurisé avec un accès via portail ouvrant en utilisant l'interphone pour joindre la réception. Le château est décoré traditionnellement avec beaucoup de charme tout en offrant tout le confort auquel on s'attend, et tout le personnel a été très gentil et attentionné, de l'accueil au départ en passant par le petit-déjeuner avec beaucoup de produits locaux.
