Excellent stay. The Inn and the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location is wonderful. Amenities are great (kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards and fire pits). But mostly the hosts, Dave and Steph, are most gracious and very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good too

My wife and I were so well looked after by Stephanie and Dave that not only did we have a wonderful stay but left feeling like we made new friends! Stunning property. Beautiful, clean, quiet and most comfortable room including all the desired features and conveniences. Beautiful waterfront , ... we simply can't say enough and whole heartedly recommend this amazing Inn.

We had a wonderful stay at the Saucy Willow Inn! Our room was very clean and comfortable with a view of the lake. Our hosts Stephanie and Dave have restored this beautiful property making sure to keep it period correct as much as possible. We would highly recommend a stay here at Saucy Willow and would definitely be back!

We had a great time here, Stephanie and Dave made us feel at home, from welcoming us in, taking pictures of us without us having to ask them, a celiac friendly breakfast, water sports and friendly fellow visitors! It was a last minute getaway for us and it did not feel like we needed anything as they have thought of everything we would possibly need. Thank you guys, we will be back ❤️

Such a beautifully restored home on a tranquil lake - just what we needed! Stephanie and Dave were friendly, helpful hosts who are proud of their property and the details show how much they love this place! The room was lovely and very comfortable. Lots of variety for breakfast - fresh made scones, fruit, variety of breads, smoothies and more. We enjoyed sitting out by the water - canoes, SUPs, kayaks and paddelboats and campfire available. Wrap around porch allowed lots of places to enjoy a drink or game with others or by yourselves. They've thought of everything - blankets and propane fire tables on the porch, well-maintained pool table, bicycles and more! Vintage decor paired with modern comfort. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay!

Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away). All the small touches show the care that Stephanie and Dave have for their guests - a fire by the river in the evening, beach towels for after swimming, ear plugs for light sleepers (the only noise is that of the countryside), a game of scrabble in the lounge. We cannot recommend the Saucy Willow enough - we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming lakeside inn. Stephanie was the perfect host—she greeted us warmly from the moment we arrived and made us feel right at home throughout our visit. The Saucy Willow Inn, at 143 years old, is full of character and history. It has been beautifully renovated over the past few years, blending modern comforts with its original charm and thoughtful details. The property itself is expansive, peaceful, and absolutely gorgeous, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room was spotless and very comfortable (the mattress was wonderful!) In the morning, we enjoyed delicious freshly baked scones and coffee for breakfast (other options offered included bagels, eggs, overnight oats and smoothies). What a lovely way to start the day! If you're looking for a quiet getaway with exceptional hospitality (and only 1.5 hours from Toronto) the Saucy Willow Inn is a fantastic choice. We will be back again soon! Thank you again, Stephanie!

We had an amazing stay at Saucy Willow for an annual family gathering. Stephanie and Dave are wonderful hosts and have thought of every detail. I would highly recommend this as a place to escape the city, take in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings and enjoy some R&R.
