Lovely welcome from reception and helpful staff showed us to the room. Perfect location close to town and right on the water. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. We had the superior room with sofa. Travellers should be aware that it is cleverly photographed. The sea view is great one side but there is another property directly outside the window opposite the bed. Luckily it was unoccupied otherwise they would have been able to see straight in. We came from another similarly priced hotel that was so well run and generous we felt this place was a bit lacking. Advised not to drink the water but no drinking water was provided. 2 coffee pods each on arrival which were not replenished. Cat mess on the balcony was cleared up immediately on request when we arrived but shouldn't have been there. There was a planter with a dead plant in which was being used as a cat toilet and therefore it smelled. It would have been easy to just remove this if the cats were a problem.

Lovely stay, the view is amazing, over the bay. Beautiful location and the room was cleaned each day. Only thing to point out is tgat the hotel is up a long bank of steps which might be a concern for less mobile people but overall,I would recommend this location. Idea for the local harbour side restaurants

Great views. Very clean and comfortable. Be aware that if you have any mobility issues that the roadway leading to The Rock, from next to Gin Fish Bar, has a flight of wide steps to navigate. Overall a perfect location for our stay on Skiathos.

Dmitris, the manager, was very helpful. The view from the hotel is amazing. Only problem is taking luggage from port to hotel but Dmitris helped carry it upstairs. Great service, hotels, port, bus & shopping places right there.

Lovely apartment.

The room was lovely, however the patio door was broken, but this was fixed straight away. The location is lovely but at the top of some very steep steps, so not so good if you are less mobile. Our room was next to the main door of the building and could be noisy at night with people coming in and out. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

The staff was very helpful. Demetrios went above and beyond what we expected. Steep steps would not be ideal for everyone. My bad knees and age in my 70's was still able to do it. The Rock is a place I would recommend. View on the balcony was special.

Amazing Stay!!

The Rock was a beautiful hotel with amazing views and in a perfect location in town. It was quiet and peaceful and the staff were so so helpful bringing our luggage up the stairs when we arrived. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much!!!!

We had a great room with a sea view in the Rock. It is at the quiet end of the port area with a lovely local bakery walkable. No amenities in the building as it’s like a nice apartment block but everything we needed in our room and very tasteful decor.

Oh my gosh, the view is simply stunning! An amazing balcony in the penthouse with views over skiathos and the port. Dimitiris was super helpful and carried our bags up to the property, quiet a few steps but that how you get the best views! Many thanks for a wonderful (too short!) stay!

Wow! We stayed in The Suite at The Rock for a week and had a fabulous time. The room is very comfortable with probably the best bathroom I’ve ever had in Greece, but the highlight is the huge terrace and most amazing view of the sea, The Plakes and The Bourtzi. The only thing that could make this room even better would be some sun beds on the terrace then it would be perfect.

The staff at the Rock were very helpful and I could store my bag in the reception while being on a boat cruise after check out. Note that the reception is at ”the Water” which has the same owners. ”The Rock” i brand new as of mid July 2023. The view is spectacular. Highly recommended!
