This property was perfect for our group of nine. We were three couples and three children, ages 14, 11 and 9. We used the Kayaks, and we fished off the dock. We cooked great meals in the modern, well-stocked kitchen. We had experienced “bare bones” vacation rentals before, so we brought the “essentials” we needed and very happily discovered those items and more were in the house. This felt like cooking in your own home. We also set up a tent in the front yard for the kids, who loved it! We brought hammocks for the trees along the lakefront, and spent relaxing hours reading in the hammocks. In the evening we had a big fire in the fire pit and made S’mores. This is a wonderful property. The big jacuzzi tub in the Master Bathroom was luxurious! The owners were responsive and so helpful! We even tried to extend our stay, but sadly for us, they were booked up. I loved it here and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. It is at least a 20 minute drive to anywhere, so stock up and settle in and relax!
