We were put in the wrong room to start then we swapped rooms we visited the pool area pool was freezing cold and we had to walk through a gym full of people to get to the sauna in our bathers we went for food food was bland poor quality the chicken tasted boiled pasta was bland with way to much cheese on it I asked for beef dripping sauce and was given beef gravy for £70 I would have expected a lot better quality food I could have cooked better myself the mattress in our room was very uncomfortable and u could feel every spring we will not be staying here again I wouldn’t recommend it neither

Not a great hotel

Room had a musty smell about it, was that bad my clothes still stenched of it the next evening. Terrible mattress, although massive bed. Sticky floor the carpets are that old and toilet struggled to flush. Fast speed internet, yes, but only if you are close to reception. I could get it from my room but was intermittent. Rooms are some distance from bar/reception and sound proofing is terrible. Evening meal was interesting, but breakfast was a little better. Wasn’t even asked at checkout if I enjoyed my stay. Staff friendly to be fair, esp at breakfast. Wouldn’t stay here again. It’s needs a significant overhaul.

Its ok

Decent hotel in need of modernisation. Decent stay considering. Very odd spa facilities with the changing rooms by the pool and having to walk wet in swim wear through reception and over carpet through the gym, very strange. If you're looking a good spa, this isn't it.

Great stay

Great friendly staff. Good pool facility and cant get too busy. Remote location if you prefer something quieter but some good walking routes around. Breakfast was fab too.

A lovely hotel in a great location

The food in the restaurant is superb, the service prompt, friendly and efficient and the rooms comfortable. The hotel is well maintained given the footfall (number of people they can accommodate and the years they have been in business..... Other hotels have something to learn from the Webbington!). Of particular note is the massage I got from Eloise in the Wellbeing Spa. This was the best I have had for years and I have had a lot of massages so recognise an exceptionally skilled masseuse. Thanks Eloise.

Great Value for money

Small but comfortable room. Fantastic access to Bristol Airport where I had a relatively early flight the following day. Great value for money for a hotel within a comfortable distance of the airport.

Heating in big room not good enough

Room was so cold arrived at 10pm and had electric heater that did not work properly. Radiator was blasting out heat but so small it made no difference. Ended up sleeping in the bath as bathroom was warmest place left at 4am for flight saw no one to complain

Could be better perhaps I had the low budget room

Ok for a one night stop over with very friendly welcome from reception, however my room was due a refurbishment. Cobwebs and spiders in every corner. No tv remote, broken flush on WC, scalding hot water (with warning signs), creaking floorboards above me that kept me awake all night, generally noisy all night, thin duvet and with 4° outside no evidence of how to control heating with only one cold radiator in the room. Would I stay again? Probably not.

Although competitively priced, with the added feature of gym/spa, this venue has seen better days. The room was satisfactory and the public areas reasonably comfortable. Everywhere else was ragged and tired looking.

An interesting hotel that had plenty of character. Staff were very good and attentive. The restaurant was spacious, the food was very good and well served. A convenient distance from the motorway with great views over the levels.
