Taking my son to a visit to Charotte (I don't know the area that well; better now) initially, I was very upset with my stay (matchbox luxury, limited access to anything, it's downtown, no choice valet parking $45/night). I cut my stay a day short and was just mad-but then, I realized that Homewood's business model had nothing to do with how this stay was recommended (only to say, matchbox-luxury) one size does not fit all-the bath tub that I paid extra for would make a good stand-up joke punch line (I'm 6'4") you feel me. I was there with my son to do things, go to the amazement park, go to the water park, pick-up a six pack of coke on the way park at the location, ect. How hotels.com recommended this to me does not do our (me as a customer) relaton very well.
