Definitely stay more than one night! We had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here. We arrived later in the day and mentioned wanting to do a night hike. The hosts arranged one that started in a half hour. Then booked our activities that we wanted to do the following day for us, while we were doing the night hike. (Zip lining, and tree top walk) Overall amazing service and people to deal with.

El hotel tiene unas vistas espectaculares, cerca del parque, centro pueblo y actividades. La habitación es correcta incluso con una mini cocina. La propietaria, Arelys, muy amable y servicial, nos ayudó a reservar los tours, nos recomendó restaurantes de la zona y estuvo atenta a cualquier necesidad durante nuestra estancia. Lo recomiendo!!

Hotel muito bom, excelente custo benefício na região. Os proprietários são muito atenciosos. Quarto possui uma cozinha anexada. Muito bom, recomendo!

We had an AMAZING stay at Monte Luna. Our host was amazing. She let us check in early and was so helpful. The host Arelys was the best host ever. She helped us book our tours and they even picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. 11/10 experience. Would gladly stay here again!

Arelys is a wonderful host. The place is quiet, clean, and very cozy. Ideally located up in the mountains. Surrounded by clouds every afternoon. Far enough from the city to enjoy some quiet but still close to activities, restaurants and supermarkets. Fantastic stay. My son and I absolutely loved it.

This place is a gem! The apartment was clean and modern, and has an amazing view. The basket of fruit and coffee on arrival was very much appreciated. Arelys was an excellent host. I highly recommend!

The host: Arelys went above and beyond to make me feel welcome! The kitchenette had everything I needed plus there was even coffee, tea and fresh fruit provided.. Arelys even helped me booked my excursions.. I can honestly say I have found a new "Amiga"

Le couple d'hôtes est très accueillant, sympathique et disponible. Nous avons reçu un panier de fruits et du café en arrivant, ce que nous avons apprécié. Le logement est très propre, bien équipé et offre une belle vue. Arelys a pu nous indiquer des spots pour admirer le coucher de soleil et nous avons pu lui confier du linge à laver.

This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica. We had the best time here - the views, the room, the hosts, their pets!! It was all wonderful. Arelys & her husband were so friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here. Pura vida!

Really great place, and it had a cute welcome basket of good coffee and fruit. This is right off route 619, easy to see from the road, and maybe 5 min north of Santa Elena. Great view from the upper bedroom that we stayed in. The walls are a bit thin and we could hear the couple next door, that was the only negative. This is 8 minutes away from El Refugio, and maybe 20 minutes from the main Monte Verde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. Plenty of places to eat in the close by town of Santa Elena. Other than that, a fabulous vacation and very welcoming host.
