Relax-cation

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and loved the cabin. A little disappointed there was no recliner to relax in, but we were comfortable on the couch. This cabin is close to the Outpost (clubhouse) and most of the activities. We visited in the off-season, so there were very few people around. A lot of places were closed in Cashiers and Highlands, so not a lot of dining options. But the places we did eat at had very good food, (breakfast at the Blue Bike Cafe in Highlands is a must). Make a point to visit Tom at Reclamations in Highlands. This a very cool place that offers reclaimed items for sale. Also, stop by Finders Keepers in Cashiers. This place has some neat items from local artists and Darren is a wonderful host. Stunning views all over the area, and we especially loved Whitewater Falls which is only 35 minute drive from the cabin. The Chinquapin Community is a wonderful place to stay and would be a blast to use all the amenities.
